Kathleen Kryger

Hello and Welcome!

I’m Kathleen, she/her pronouns, and I’m a scholar-teacher working at the intersections of Rhetoric and Composition, Disability Studies, and Writing Assessment and Placement. I’m a PhD candidate at the University of Arizona, where I’m finishing my dissertation, Challenging Neuronormativity: A Disability Justice Framework for Writing Assessment. I will defend and graduate in spring 2023.

In my current position as the Writing Instruction Specialist in the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology, I support diverse instructional teams in developing writing-intensive general education courses. I also support the organization of writing across the curriculum (WAC) initiatives and the facilitation of written communication assessment projects across the university and state.
